My name is Ebrahim Karimjee, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I embarked on my medical journey at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, where I developed a deep commitment to promoting medical literacy and preventative care. My decision to pursue a career in medicine was fueled by a desire to empower people with knowledge that would help them take proactive steps toward their health.
I chose the Conway Regional Residency program because of the close-knit, supportive environment it offers. The personal connections between residents, faculty, and staff were immediately evident to me, creating a nurturing atmosphere where everyone—from attendings to specialists and staff—is approachable and genuinely invested in our growth as physicians. This sense of community and collaboration was a key factor in my decision, as I believe that such an environment is essential for both professional and personal development.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending quality time with my wife and son. We love exploring the outdoors, particularly hiking and swimming. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I relish the opportunity to experience new cultures, landscapes, and perspectives from around the world.
